Anyone with a digital presence needs an attractive headshot for Zoom, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, your company website, marketing materials. There are too many to name! And for actors and performers, your headshot can be the most important part of the first step in obtaining your career goals. 

What is a headshot? 

Headshots are much more than just snapshots of your head. There is a science in posing, facial expression, cropping, lighting and styling headshots. Typically headshots are shoulders up. They can be vertical or horizontal, depending on the type of headshot you need.  There are also more personal branding type shoots that include more "action" shots than just headshots and those are available through us as well. 

What type of headshots are there? 

Headshots for business executives, lawyers, medical professionals, realtors, may be completely different than headshots for a performer. Classical, conservative type headshots are typically done on a solid background - gray or black or white - and are typically photographed in a standard 8x10 portrait mode.  Actors often like a white or black background but instead of being a standard 8x10 portrait, it can be a 10x8 landscape crop. Each of these types of headshots can also be done more “cinematic” - with beautiful textured, yet blurred backgrounds, windows, walls that are abundant at Revolution Mill. Our knowledge and expertise can help you create the right type of headshot for your industry.

An Unlimited Experience: Here at Greensboro Headshots, we’re skilled in crafting a headshot you’ll be proud to display in all your social media outlets. Here’s how our process works. Your Session Fee is for an Unlimited Experience. We don’t rush you. We take time to listen to you and hear what your purpose is for the headshots. We give you tips on what to wear. You can bring multiple outfits and we can try multiple backgrounds and locations. Hair & makeup services are also available and highly recommended if you feel you don't have the skills to create the most polished look you can have! These images will be part of your online life and you want to look your very best.   

The most important part of our session is when we view the images together at the end of the session. As professionals we are able to give you as much help in choosing your images as you want — we can let you make all the choices or we can guide you as we look at the images together pointing out technical reasons and emotional reasons one image may be better than the other. But we don't send you home with an online gallery and tell you to figure it out for yourself. We help you in the studio before you leave and then we send your images to you within 24 hours. You can upgrade to same-day-service as well. 

How many images do I get? 

We don’t limit you to one or two shots. We leave it up to you. How many images do you love? That’s how many you can purchase at a very reasonable price!  You are the boss. Variety is the spice of life and we like to make sure you have a variety of images to present to the world.
